LEITH STREET APARTMENTSSpecific Engineering Design for a proposed 9 apartment block. This included the design of foundations, concrete block walls, concrete flat deck, suspended floors and steel stairs, as well as the design of retaining walls for the site. SEDS also undertook construction observations.

JETTY STREETSeismic strengthening of a 2 story (AGE) unreinforced masonry building in Dunedin’s warehouse precinct, constructed over uncontrolled harbour reclamation. Design of raft slab to support the entire weight of the building. Creation of diaphragms in the roof and intermediate floors and bracing design.

MUSSELBURGH CHILDCARE CENTREThe structural design and documentation for a proposed child care facility building. The building was architecturally designed and is around 680m2. Our scope was to develop the structure based on the architect’s drawings and design all of the structural components including the foundation on a site with poor ground conditions. SEDS also undertook construction observations.
